Buying Counter Rules

We only pay $1-$3 per item. We may choose to pay more for vintage or theatrical costumes, at our discretion. We will not buy clothing that is full of cat or other animal hair, missing buttons, broken zippers, nicotine scented, soaked in cat urine, stained or dirty, etc.... On average we will only take 3-4 items per bag of clothes.

Buying hours are from 12pm-4pm Mon-Sat. Each day we have a specific allotment of money for buying, if we happen to run out before 4pm then we will close the buying counter early. We do not by clothes on Sunday, and please remember to only bring one bag of clothes to us at a time during regular buying hours.

Personal Note:

As you are aware the fashion industry changes overnight. The Junkee staff is not against you, but they will only buy items that are selling currently. It does not mean that they think you or your clothing is unstylish! They have an extremely hard job on keeping up with what is selling and what is not, so please be courtesy and kind.We are also running a business, trying bring something unique and fun to Reno and make a living. We are sorry if you are in finical difficulties, we truly are. However we will not take something off your hands just to help you out. Please keep in mind that our rent is over eight thousand a month, along with utilities, payroll, etc., etc....
