WHERE TO GO IN MIDTOWN
We LOVE living, working, eating and shopping in the Midtown District. And we have a lot to say about it! If you ever have questions about where to go or what to do in Midtown, just ask!
Restaurants"India Kabab and Curry...you really get bang for your buck! It's under ten bucks and it's all you can eat during lunchtime. At Sup, I always get the pesto turkey sandwich with tomato bisque that I could die for! If you have a hankering for really good breakfast, you have to go to Two Chicks. If you shop too long and your blood sugar is low, we have a kickass brewery right behind Junkee called the Brasserie Saint James. They have the best portobello fries!" -Jessica, owner of Junkee "Si Amigos is one of my favorite places. It's one of the oldest Mexican places in Midtown, and everything on their menu is delicious, especially their special butter sauce! -Jimmy, Junkee employee "Homegrown Gastropub is so delicious! I love that they have vegan options, and all of their ingredients are locally sourced. Try the sticky toffee pudding for dessert; it's to die for!" -Maranda, Junkee employee Bars"You have to go to The Loving Cup and Chapel but one of my most favorite things to do in the evening is to have margaritas and chips and salsa at El Adobe." -Jessica, owner of Junkee "40 Mile is always a good time! Great music and pool, what more could you ask for?" -Holly, Junkee employee "I really like to go to Craft, directly across the street from Junkee. They have good quality drinks without a snobby atmosphere." Shops"I love that we have so much great shopping in Midtown! Bad Apple Vintage, right across the street from Junkee, has a great selection of 80's/90's vintage. I love all of their funky sunglasses and socks, too! -Jessica, owner of Junkee "One of the original Midtown businesses is Black Hole Body Piercing, right down the street from Junkee! They've been open for over 20 years, and they truly have the best selection of jewelry. Their piercers are always friendly and knowledgeable! |
